What is Hoopla?
Hoopla Digital is an online media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV!
How do I connect Hoopla to my TV?
Once you’ve set up your account and found a TV show or movie to borrow (here’s a quick overview of how to do all of that!), it’s time to get Hoopla on your TV!
Hoopla is compatible with Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire, and other Smart TVs and devices. Follow these steps to start streaming on the big screen!
Search for Hoopla in your device’s app store.
Log in to your Hoopla account using your email address and password.
Browse new titles or look at your current checkouts to select one to play!
What are BingePasses?
Hoopla has a feature called BingePasses, where you can check out a collection of dozens of movies or a whole season of a show for just 1 borrow (instead of multiple borrows)! From the home screen, look for the BingePass category to browse all that are available, including Hallmark movies, whole TV seasons, Great Courses, movie collections, and more!
You are limited to borrowing up to 2 items per month. On the 1st of every month, your borrows will be replenished. Items you have checked out will still be checked out for the duration of its loan period (they do not disappear at the end of the month when you get new borrows). This is why BingePasses can be so beneficial to helping you make the most of your monthly borrows!
