New Berlin Public Library card registrations expire every 18 months.* You do not need a new card; we just want to check in so all information associated with your account is accurate.
*If you live in Milwaukee County but work or attend school in New Berlin, your registration expires every 12 months.
If you receive a notice from the Library that your registration is going to expire, or if you haven’t visited us for quite some time, then it’s time to renew!
How to Renew
- Come to the Circulation Desk on the first floor or visit us at the drive-up window.
- Present your library card and ID with a current address – usually a driver’s license. If you have moved, bring a recent document showing the new address (utility bill, home purchase or rental agreement, etc.)
- We’ll verify your phone and email info, click a few buttons, and send you on your way!
FAQs
If you can’t come to the library right now, don’t worry. We will not delete your account until three years after expiration. There’s time!
If you would like a short-term renewal to continue using digital materials before your visit, call us. We’ll extend your registration for a month over the phone.
If you have moved to Milwaukee County, there is a one-time $25 fee for continued registration.
