Who are the Friends of the New Berlin Public Library?
Friends of the New Berlin Library is a non-profit organization of volunteers who work together to promote and expand programs/resources and services for all people in the community. The Friends Executive Board serves as a link between the library and the community.
How do the Friends help the Library?
Friends sponsor a continuing book sale in the Library Book Emporium/Gift shop and plan and execute 3 to 4 Friends events annually including a 2 day used book sale in April. All proceeds from these sales are used to fund the library programs/resources and services that are beyond the limits of the yearly library budget. Friends have funded author visits, computers, summer reading programs, movie licenses and much more.
