Event Details
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and we can't wait to celebrate at New Berlin Public Library!
Whether you’re upgrading your skills, scouting for knowledge and information, or connecting with other readers, a library card is your key to a ton of resources. Visit us and spark your creativity at our library’s MakerStudio; search the library’s shelves and databases for new stories and adventures. Hitting the road? Use your library card to check out books, e-books, audiobooks, and experience passes!
Ways to Celebrate
1. Visit our library!
Come see what's new and take part in the celebration!
- Get Your Card!
- Adult Library Card: stop at the Circulation Desk to sign up for a library card.
- Child's First Card: come to the Youth Reference Desk to sign your child up for a library card and they'll get to pick out their own library card lanyard along with a few other extra goodies!*
- *Child must be 5+ to get a library card
- Play Library Card Bingo!
- All are welcome to stop by the Adult Services Reference Desk to play Library Card Bingo September 3-30.
- For each activity you do, head to the Reference Desk and get a stamp. When you get 4 stamps in a row, you'll get a prize and a raffle drawing entry!
2. Try something new at your library during September for a chance to win.
I Love Libraries is challenging everyone to try something new at their library during September and share their experience. Whether it’s exploring a new service, picking up a fresh skill, or even getting your very first library card, they want to hear about it. Everyone who participates will be entered in a random drawing for a chance to win some great prizes.
